Middle East Public Relations Association in Dubai Directory

The Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA) is a non-profit organisation that represents the interests of the Middle East public relations industry. MEPRA endeavours to highlight the strategic role of public relations in the Arab world and help set high standards for quality and ethical conduct by consultancy firms. The Association provides a single point of contact for government, the business community and the media to talk to the regions growing PR industry. MEPRAs full membership currently consists of almost 20 public relations firms with more than 100 offices in more than 16 countries across the region (December 2006). MEPRA is registered at Dubai Media City in the United Arab Emirates and is a member of the International Committee of Public Relations Consultancies Associations (ICCO), which represents leading PR consultancies across 29 countries. Why should you choose to work with a MEPRA member consultancy firm? All MEPRA member firms have to meet a standard set of criteria in order to prove a minimum level of public relations practice and capability. MEPRA membership is open to all PR firms in the region, providing these minimum standards are met. All MEPRA members have to sign up to a code of practice to ensure a high standard of ethics and shared values among MEPRA member firms. These standards apply especially to a MEPRA members dealings with clients and the media.
