Expocentre Sharjah is the landscaped centrepiece of a planned Expo City in this Arabian state. Over US 50 million has been invested to give the international exhibitions, conferences and events industry a state-of-the-art facility in the heart of the Middle East, with easy access to the developing Sub-continent and CIS economies. The visually striking Expocentre is now the most technically-advanced exhibition, conference and event complex within the Middle East - and, the most user-friendly. The 128,000 square metre centre is also eco-friendly having its own sophisticated waste water treatment and de-centralised air-conditioning systems. Bordering Sharjah’s Al Khalid lagoon, the complex is also the only exhibition venue in the region fronting the sea, making it ideal for marine-related events.
