The European Sea Food Company was established in Dubai in 1997. Initially dealing in live Canadian Lobster and European Fish, the company installed a holding tank with the capacity of 1000 kgs of live products and their target was to be the premier supplier of Live, Fresh And Frozen products to 5 star hotels in the region. By 1998 the company had expanded the range of products on offer to include both fresh and frozen Shrimp, Tuna, Loins and Tuna Saku. Paying particular attention to the size of items offered and by ensuring the best service to clients, the company also laid down stringent and quality control parameters. The net result of the above was an enviable growth in the business and in 1999 three more tanks were installed. The first with a capacity of 1000 kgs for Australian Lobster, the second for Crabs with a 200 kgs capacity, and the third at 150 kgs, for live Hammour enabled the company to stock up to 2000 kgs of live produce.
