Milco Plastic was established in 1977 as part of the National Food Products Company (founded in 1971) based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. When National Food Products Company was founded over three decades ago, we ere committed to two basic principles - quality and service. The initial purpose of the Milco Plastic was to meet the companys own requirements of plastic cups, Being, the first manufacturer the demand for packaging was high. Within months of commencing production, Milco Plastic stared supplying containers of a variety of shapes and sizes for the food manufacturers to cater the packaging needs for water, dairy and juice products. Since then, Milco Plastic has responded by increasing its production at even faster pace. Today, Milco Plastic has set up a second manufacturing site to cope with the market demand. It is now considered one of the main plastic packaging suppliers for the packed food and food services product throughout the Middle East. Currently, more than 60% of its sales go the markets outside the UAE. Already customers throughout the Middle East, UK, Germany, Russia, CIS countries, buy its Plastic products. Milco Plastic has also gained strong foothold in Africa which NFPC sees as a major potential market along side the on-line market. Milco Plastic success is a combination of strict adherence to global quality, hygiene requirements and investment in front-line technology. It has production of more than 30000 tons a year in an increasing range of polymers.
