In the beginning there was sand. Lots of sand. And a small group of expats frustrated by the lack of information on how to get the most out of life in Dubai. So they set about creating a book to answer all their questions about living, working and getting the most out of life in an unfamiliar city, and in 1995 the first ever Explorer Residents’ Guide was born. This annual guidebook has become the undisputed No.1 publication on Dubai, and it is the same ethos that led to its creation that continues to drive everything we do today. Though we have certainly grown, from a one-man operation to todays multi-cultural team of over 70 individuals from 12 different countries, one thing remains the same - the desire to publish vital and vibrant titles that will inspire explorers from the Middle East and Asia to Europe and beyond. To put it simply, we’re here to help people make the most of life, wherever they may be living it.
