Ras Al Khaimah Campus in Dubai Directory
George Mason University, Ras Al Khaimah (GMU-RAK) was developed in 2005 by a royal decree of the government of Ras Al Khaimah, under the patronage of the Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, H.H. Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qassimi. Ras Al Khaimah is one of seven emirates forming the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and is located about one hours drive north of Dubai. Ras Al Khaimah has a rich cultural legacy and boasts dramatic landscapes with rugged mountains, sandy deserts and lush green plains all situated along the Arabian Gulf.
