Scientechnic was founded in 1972 to serve the growing need of the electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering fields, with Siemens AG, Germany, as its first agency. Today it is a leader in these fields and undertakes turnkey projects, manufactures electrical switchgears and trade in a large number of engineering products, consumer electronics and home/commercial appliances. The contract division of the company offers design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning for various projects ranging from industrial plants to hotels and multi-storeyed complexes, providing electrical, communications and traffic control systems. The companys sales division, markets over 6000 different products relating to power engineering, electrical installations, electronics, telecommunications and domestic and industrial lighting. The design assembling and testing of these products are carried out as per Siemens design and workshop practices using mainly components from Siemens AG, Germany, conforming to international standards. The automation group provides comprehensive design, supply and on site support for Programmable Logic Controllers and Variable Speed Drives.
