Vision, Mission & Values; Dubai Municipality is regarded as one of the largest establishments in Dubai in terms of the number of people it employs, the volume of services it provides to the public and the projects it carries out. Dubai Municipality is the major driving force behind the development process of Dubai City as a whole. The Municipality was established in the 1940s with total staff strength of three persons who were operating from a single room. However, it was in 1965 that Dubai Municipality came into being officially. The Municipality kept up its steady growth since its inception and has now become a large organisation with more than 10,710 staff working in 31 organizational units.
